§ 21-54. Towing or notice of violation; fines.
Whenever any motor vehicle without a driver is found parked, stopped or standing, in violation of any of the restrictions imposed by ordinance of this county, the officer or other agent of the county finding such vehicle may have the same towed away at the expense of the owner. The officer or other agent of the county may also take its registration number, and any other information displayed on the vehicle which may identify its user, and shall conspicuously affix to such vehicle with a traffic notice or citation requiring the payment of a fine for the owner or operator to pay within 30 days to the Okaloosa County Clerk of Court, at the following rates which include clerk of court fees:

Northwest Florida Regional Airport:
For each violation in prohibited parking areas ..... $55.00
(2)
Disabled permit areas ..... 155.00
(3)
All other prohibited parking areas ..... 55.00

Ord. No. 12-07, § 3, adopted March 6, 2012, repealed the former § 21-54, and enacted a new § 21-54 as set out herein. The former § 21-54 pertained to similar subject matter and derived from Ord. No. 87-28, adopted May 19, 1987 and Ord. No. 06-45, adopted May 16, 2006.
