§ 3-53. Additional and supplementary rules and regulations.

(a)

Generally. The board shall have the power to amend and make additional rules and regulations, not inconsistent with state or federal laws, pertaining to the use and operations of the air terminal, which rules and regulations, when so made and approved, shall have the force and effect of law.

(b)

Enforcement; management of air terminal. The airport manager and/or a designated representative of the board shall, at all times, have the authority to take such reasonable action as may be necessary to enforce these regulations and to efficiently manage the airport and its operations.

(c)

Authority of airport manager. In any contingencies not specifically covered in these rules and regulations the airport manager shall be authorized to make such reasonable rules, orders, and decisions as may be necessary and proper.

(d)

Additional and supplementary regulations. Designated representatives of the board with the approval of the board, shall have the power to enforce the regulations and instructions, not inconsistent with the provisions of these rules and regulations, state and federal law, pertaining to the use and operation of the air terminal owned by the board, which rules and regulations, when made, approved and published, shall have the force and effect of law, including but not limited to the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport Ground Transportation Policy, as amended from time to time.
