Article V. ENTERPRISE ZONE DEVELOPMENT AGENCY |
§ 17-129. Powers and responsibilities.
The Okaloosa County/Crestview Enterprise Zone Development Agency shall have the following powers and responsibilities:
(1)
To assist in the development and implementation of the strategic plan described in F.S. § 290.0057.
(2)
To oversee and monitor the implementation of the strategic plan. The Okaloosa County/Crestview Enterprise Zone Development Agency shall make an annual report to the Board of County Commissioners of Okaloosa County, Florida, and the City Council of the City of Crestview, Florida, evaluating the progress in implementing the strategic plan.
(3)
To identify and recommend to the Board of County Commissioners of Okaloosa County, Florida, and the City Council of the City of Crestview ways to remove regulatory barriers.
(4)
To identify to the Board of County Commissioners of Okaloosa County, Florida, and the City Council of the City of Crestview, the financial needs of, and local resources or assistance available to, business in the enterprise zone.
