§ 1-16. Court charges assessed for dissolution of marriage proceedings.

  • (a)

    The clerk of the court is hereby authorized and enjoined to collect a service charge of $13.00 on any circuit court dissolution of marriage proceeding commenced in Okaloosa County.

    (b)

    All funds derived from the imposition of the service charge set forth in subsection (a) above shall be deposited in the family mediation account fund under the supervision of the Chief Judge of the First Judicial Circuit. One dollar of each charge collected shall be forwarded to the Office of the State Courts Administrator and the remainder utilized to fund mediation.

    (c)

    All funds derived from the imposition of the service charge set forth in subsection (b) above shall be deposited in the mediation account fund under the supervision of the Chief Judge of the First Judicial Circuit. One dollar of each charge collected shall be forwarded to the Office of the State Courts Administrator and the remainder utilized to fund county civil mediation services.

    (d)

    The clerk of the court is hereby authorized and enjoined to collect a service charge of $53.00 on any petition for a modification of a final judgment of dissolution filed in Okaloosa County.

    (e)

    All funds derived from the imposition of the service charge set forth in subsection (d) above shall be deposited in the family mediation account fund under the supervision of the Chief Judge in the First Judicial Circuit. One dollar of each charge collected shall be forwarded to the Office of the State Courts Administrator and the remainder utilized to fund family mediation services.
