§ 6.08.01. General.

  • The growth management department may grant a temporary use permit for requests that demonstrate compliance with the intent of this section. Approvals for such requests shall be based upon, but not limited to, the applicant's description of the temporary use, the intended duration of the use, hours of operation and the impacts of the proposed temporary use on adjacent properties. All requests for a temporary use permit shall include a site plan. The appropriate site plan and temporary use permit application shall be submitted and approved prior to the submission of a building permit application and shall demonstrate, where applicable, that provisions will be made to adequately address the following:

    1.

    Traffic circulation and safety within the site;

    2.

    Minimum parking requirements for the temporary use as defined in the Land Development Code;

    3.

    Screening, buffering, and landscaping of the temporary use to reduce potential impacts on adjacent properties;

    4.

    Lighting;

    5.

    Sanitary facilities;

    6.

    Fire protection;

    7.

    Environmental impacts;

    8.

    Stormwater management; and

    9.

    Any other requirements determined to be necessary for the public health and safety.
