§ 6-556. Permit applications.

Applications for building permits for construction in the coastal building zone and on coastal barrier islands may be required by the building official to be certified by an architect or professional engineer registered in the State of Florida. Such certification shall state that the design plans and specifications for the construction are in compliance with the criteria established by this coastal code.
