§ 6-224. Meetings; removal of members.

The board shall meet once each month or as required. Special meetings of the board may be held as needed. Six members of the board shall constitute a quorum. Unexcused absences for three consecutive meetings shall be deemed a voluntary resignation from the board. Upon motion passed by two-thirds of the membership of the Okaloosa County Competency Board, the competency board may recommend to the board of county commissioners the removal of any one of its members for cause. The cause for the recommendation shall be stated within the motion for removal.
