§ 6-135. Adoption of Florida Building Code, 2011 Electrical Code, and technical codes and appendices.

There is hereby adopted by reference the Florida Building Code and the 2011 National Electrical Code, along with their associated technical codes, appendices, and ordinances not superseded by the Codes hereby adopted, including the non-technical and administrative chapters and requirements for all adopted codes. The edition of the Florida Building Code (all volumes) along with any other technical codes and appendices and ordinances approved by the Florida Building Code Commission, along with any local ordinances and codes not superseded by the codes adopted by the Florida Building Code Commission, shall take effect in the areas subject to the permitting jurisdiction of Okaloosa County on the effective date as established by the Florida Building Code Commission.
