§ 2-103. Budget duties.

The chief correctional officer of the county shall submit his proposed budget of expenditures for the maintenance and operation of the county correctional system in a similar manner as that provided in Section 30.49, Florida Statutes (1988), providing that the salaries for county correctional officers shall be paid from the general revenue fund of the county and such employees shall be deemed county employees.
