§ 17-121. Established.

There is hereby established a public body corporate and politic to be known as the Okaloosa County/Crestview Enterprise Zone Development Agency which shall be an "enterprise zone development agency" described in F.S. § 290.0056(1). The Okaloosa County/Crestview Enterprise Zone Development Agency shall constitute a public instrumentality and shall exercise the powers conferred upon it by the Florida Enterprise Act of 1994, F.S. §§ 290.001—290.0016, to the extent provided in this Article. The exercise by the Okaloosa County/Crestview Enterprise Zone Development Agency of the powers conferred upon it by the Florida Enterprise Zone Act of 1994 shall be deemed and held to be the performance of an essential public function.
