§ 15-93. Collection; remittance to county.

(a)

The fees imposed under this division shall be collected by the telephone company to be providing 911 services and equipment to county, and all proceeds shall be remitted to county, less an administrative fee equal to one percent of the fees collected, which administrative fee shall be retained by the telephone company as provided in the Florida Emergency Telephone Act, as amended.

(b)

The remittance to the county provided for in paragraph (a) above, shall be paid monthly within 30 days following the preceding monthly collection pursuant to this division.
