§ 11-101. Purpose.

The purpose of this division of this article is to prevent, prohibit and provide for the abatement of excessive and unnecessary noise in order to protect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the county who are situated within any property zoned for residential use, or utilized for residential purposes in accordance with the restrictive covenants of Santa Rosa Island Subdivision, or any noise-sensitive zone.
