§ 9.02.06. Enforcement and penalties.

  • Violations of this chapter shall be prosecuted in the same manner as misdemeanors are prosecuted. Such violations shall be prosecuted in the name of the state court having jurisdiction of misdemeanors by the prosecuting attorney thereof and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $500.00 or by imprisonment in the county jail not to exceed 60 days or by both fine and imprisonment, or by civil fine of $250.00 for the first violation, and $500.00 for each violation thereafter. Any deputy sheriff appointed pursuant to section Section 30.07, Florida Statutes, may enforce this regulation in the manner provided by law for enforcement of misdemeanors. (Ord.
