  • The board hereby finds and declares that certain community noise has the documented potential to cause adverse health effects including: Hearing loss; sleep disturbances; cardiovascular and psycho physiologic problems; performance reduction; annoyance responses; and adverse social behavior . It is the intent of the board to further the protection of county inhabitants from the potential adverse health effects of community noise, and the board does hereby declare that such protection furthers a legitimate government interest toward safeguarding the public health, safety, and welfare.
