§ 4.01.02. Determination of concurrency.

Concurrency shall be evaluated and a final determination made by the planning official prior to authorization of development or as described in subsection 4.01.02.1. Any final determinations of concurrency by the planning official shall be based upon initial concurrency determinations as follows:

The public works department shall be responsible for initial determinations regarding roadways, drainage and stormwater management facilities, solid waste facilities, and recreation facilities.

2.

Okaloosa County Water and Sewer shall be responsible for initial determinations regarding potable water facilities and sanitary sewer facilities for areas within its designated service area.

3.

The department of growth management shall be responsible for initial determinations regarding public schools facilities.
